I completed my week 5 20 minutes on Thursday. I did go very slowly and i'm not sure I did 2 miles, but i'll work on it. I am really chuffed though as I never thought i'd be able to run for 20 minutes.
Onto week 6.....
Not looking forward to going back to split runs but I guess it builds speed and stamina?

Really, W6D1 & W6D2 are recovery sessions before going for the 25 min run....After this week, you will stop walking during workout...
Seems difficult? O yeah....
But....it can be done....
Good luck.

So if i needed to take extra days between w6d1 and w6d2 to recover can i just skip ahead to w6d3? I ran on monday and the shin splints were so bad I decided to take the rest of the week off. I feel much better honestly.

Did day 1 of week 6 today. It was harder, but I ran faster and definately covered more distance.
Need to work out a longer route so I don't get home too soon.
