I think it has died. It was a cheap bucket of whatever anyway. I think I need a new one. What do you use? Any recommendations?
When I look at it, the mp3's system tells me the memory is 99% full yet there are no files!
I loaded some music on for holidays then didn't use it. On my return I deleted the music files. I then wanted to put some more podcasts on...I've lost my running mojo...and windows told me the device was full. So yes, please delete the files so I can add some more. It did that once and now it just asks the question and moves onto "finish". *gah*

Ah ha! I had to reformat the thing! Phew! Shopping trip averted.
Back to running tomorrow morning. Thought I'd start at mid week 5 and see how it goes.

Hooray! you figured it out.
I had an issue once with a Memorex MP3 Player, and had to hard-reset and reformat. Lost all my music, but at least the player was usable.
They're pretty durable, I've run a MuVo through the laundry and had it work on the other side, though the rechargeable AA was toast.
