Hey guys, I'm new here doing the C25K as part of a whole transition to make myself healthy and fit again. I'm 23, 5'10" and 270 lbs looking to be about 170. I got a ways to go but I believe I can do this. I also thought I'd point out in case nobody else has seen it, but I'm doing the Hundred Push Ups workout for strength training from hundredpushups.com. Well anyway, I look forward to more running and I also look forward to being a part of the community.

Welcome tot he forum! You'll learn to love it and use it as part of your running program. I'm 32, 6 ft 1 in, 260 and was a lazy bum when I started. It was hard but if you keep telling yourself to keep going and find ways to motivate yourself you can do it. I'm on week 7 now and my skinny friends can't even keep up with me haha. I look forward to seeing you around!

Just thought I would update everyone that I have not gotten started yet as I was going to start and began having nosebleed problems that day. I am getting it taken care of but the doctor said I needed to not do anything too intense and said running would probably be best to stay away from for a few weeks while the cauterization healed but I am good now and gonna start again.
