But I almost died LOL!
OMG, It was SOOO hard, I had no idea I was sooo out-of-shape!!! The first runs were OK, but after 10 minutes I was having problems even with the brisk walk, I’m so weak… but I finished the whole thing and hopefully tomorrow I’ll be feeling better.
Today I cannot do anything at all, even walking to work was hard hehehe… but I feel good that I was able to finish it and didn’t die (hahaha), so maybe there’s hope for me?

Welcome to the programme Agatha,
And very well done for focussing on the objective and getting the job done. You are now one of those who does, as opposed to the many who talk. I wish you lots of success on your journey.

I feel your pain agatha! i did W1D1 on sunday and after about 15 mins i had the most agonising stomach cramps i had to stop for ten mins! I realised that i was just trying to go too fast, so I did W1D1 again on tuesday and just did D2 today at a much slower pace, and although it was hard going I managed to get all the way through. I am sure it will get easier as my fitness and strength improves, and hopefully the muscle aches will also get better!
Good luck on your next one!

Good job Agatha. Keeping that slow pace for now is a good idea. Don't worry about how you compare to other runners or how fast you think a runner should be. Those experienced runners had to start somewhere, too, right? Just making it through the running portions without walking, regardless of speed, is already any accomplishment.
Next up: More 5k running!
