Yep, I actually did it. Day 1 done. There were a few surprises. The first running interval I felt like I was really landing hard on the pavement. I'm only 20 lbs overweight so it seemed like a lot to me. Ok I am a 44yr old grandmother to 6 so that might explain it. I'm just old. ha! The running intervals didn't seem as long as I imagined they would seem. That last one did wind me the most although I think I might have picked up the pace on that one because I was excited the running intervals were done.
I'm looking forward to Day2 on Wednesday and I"ll be riding my bike for a bit tomorrow to keep myself loosened up.
Thanks for the tips and stuff before I started. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I progress!
Chris

Good job! I can tell you from experience and being 65 Lbs overweight that it gets better and better. I just started week 3 and I feel like it was the easiest run so far. Keep up the good work!

Nice start Chris. I find that once you've started, the progressive nature of the plan means each run in the first few weeks is a challenge but not insurmountable.
Personally I've enjoyed it very much, and only now, in mid week 5 am I fining it pretty tough.
Welcome aboard.
Keep Running! Cheers Batman
