Broken Heart [U] It's time
Reply Quote
Hi everyone! I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful babies, both 11 months. It has been an amazingly hellish year. We gave birth to triplets at 27 weeks. After eight weeks and a long fight, we lost our youngest, Owen. Some days it is hard to get out of bed, but I do it for my babies. Now, I need to do something for myself. I ran the Vermont City marathon back in 2001, and have done very little running since, and none in the past two years. I needed to find a "back to basics" approach to running if I really wanted to get in the habit again. Luckily, I stumbled on the Couch to 5K program. I am planning on starting this Sunday. Thanks for being here!

So sorry about little Owen :-(

The running will really help.  It's a great stress release.  I know i've been a better mom since I started.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Paige

Congrats on getting yourself out there & looking after youself. Also a mom of two, although a little older (4 & 6). I find this so rewarding & also a better parent for doing so. My thoughts are with you.
