OK this time I am going to do this. I am a 39 mother of 3 - my 11 y.o. daughter loves to run fun runs and wants me to start doing it, so this is my chance to prove to myself I can do it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated to keep me going.

Congratulations on making this commitment. In just a few weeks you'll be AMAZED at what you can do!
1.) Get good shoes and socks. That is THE most important thing you can do. 2.) Get going! Really! Follow the program to your best ability and I promise it will work. Some people are faster than others, that's OK. Some people repeat days or weeks. That's OK too. 3.) Bookmark this site...great people, lots of good information and chances are someone else is going through just what you are, and if you are the first, someone will respond and help you out. 4) Get an ipod or a watch with interval timers to help you keep track of everything.
